Angela C. has completed an awesome total of 50 Greyhound Fisherman Sweaters for various rescues! That's not a typo...it's FIFTY!!! Check back in the archives and you'll see several photos of earlier sweaters she made. Angela's work illustrates how different the pattern looks when done in all kinds of color combos. And her models are often other than Greyhounds. Congratulations, Angela on your amazing accomplishment! There are a lot of toasty warm pups out there because of you!

Linda crocheted our Life Size Greyhound and named him Stuffy. Her friend, Rob, made an awesome stand for Stuffy who was donated to Greyhound Safety Net.
Stuffy's job is to attract attention at Adoption Awareness Events. As you can see, he's doing a greyt job of attracting the attention of a cute Greyhound puppy!
Thanks Linda and Rob!!!

Not Just 4 Greyhounds

This Fisherman Style Sweater pattern was designed for Greyhounds. However, that didn't stop Angela from improvising to make the sweater fit this little Cavalier. She used baby yarn in a pretty pink and a smaller hook.

Angela enjoys crocheting for her own dogs and she also makes sweaters to donate for rescue dogs. The photos below show her beautiful variations with yarn color. She also made the sweaters fit by eliminating a few rows for dogs with shorter bodies.

In July Wyatt, our inspiration, became ill and he left us for the Rainbow Bridge in October. Our hearts are broken but we will go on to try to help other hounds needing homes.
Godspeed Wyatt. We miss you very much.
