This month, all proceeds from the Handmade4Hounds Shop will be donated to benefit Greyhound Welfare of MD/DC/VA www.greyhoundwelfare.org. The light brindle Pixie Hound with a white face is 13" tall. Well-Dressed Hounds


Marianne C. from the Netherlands sent us these terrific photos of her latest creations. A life size crocheted Greyhound is dressed in the Greyhound Fisherman Sweater and Quick & Easy Dog Sweater.
The hound was named Lucas and has his own embroidered collar. Marianne donates handmade dog coats for rescued pups. Greyt job...thanks Marianne!

Auction for God's Greyts

Thanks go out to Marianne C. for sending this photo of 2 hounds she crocheted having a tea party with Mom. She used lighter yarn and a smaller hook to make the Whippet sized fawn hound. She even added a collar with Tippi's name embroidered on it! The blue Greyhound is called Lucas. Marianne makes coats for rescued dogs in the Netherlands.

Craft Fair for Greyhound Rescue

Lesley Phillips and friends filled 2 tables with hand-made items at a craft fair. Look closely and you'll see several crocheted Pixie Hounds. All proceeds from the sale went to Greyhound Rescue. Hurray Leslie!

Auction for Midwest Greyhound Adoption


Midwest Greyhound Adoption (http://www.midwestgreyhound.org/) has taken in EIGHT broken legged hounds the past three weeks from Dairyland Racing Park. Midwest Greyhounds took them in, will fix them and find them loving homes. Unfortunately, the money needed to repair and care for these hounds is upwards of $15,000. This auction is to help Midwest Greyhound in a small way to pay those bills. Click here to see the items:
